Loose stool

I noticed that one or two of my chicks has runny poo. They all seem to be healthy at this point. Do I need to be worried?

Chicks have two kinds of poo....the regular stuff, and a brownish runny poo called cecal droppings, which is sticky and stinky. That is totally normal!

Is it every poop, or just some of them?

If it's just some of them, it's likely cecal poop (perfectly normal!). Just do a quick search here for that term and you'll learn more than you ever really wanted to know about chicken excrement.

Thank you. that sounds exactly like what it is. brown, runny and stinky. I am not sure if it is every time or not. The Buff Orpingtons all look the same to me.
