Hi. This is my first post, but I'm happy to be here.
I run a Yahoo group called "SVChickens" for chicken owners (and wannabes) in and around Santa Clara county (aka Silicon Valley). If you're near, you can join by sending mail to [email protected].
I've also got 5 hens, none of whom are laying right now, sadly. They are my first flock, and the oldest is coming up on 3 years old. We got them because I loved the chickens at my son's preschool, and thought "well, why can't I just have them at home!"
Yesterday we had a screening of a DVD about chicken clicker training. There were 16 of us crammed into our living room, learning the subtleties (well, the basics) of chicken training.
