Losing feathers!!!...

my chicks are 10 weeks and i see a lot of feathers on the ground in the run/at the outside waterer/inside in the roost droppings pan. just wondering if this is normal. in the coop - i have 8 birds all 10 weeks and i bet there are 20+ feathers. all from different breeds it seems.

I'm noticing the same thing with 11 week old pullets. Someone on BYC was kind enough to point out they're probably just losing juvenile feathers to make room for their adult feathers. Makes sense, and now I can worry about other things
