Loss of a good one and now and new one

Well I put my Dog of 16 years down Jan. 17th. She was in no good shape so I did what I thought best. My 5 year old was taking it Super hard so I went out and surprised him with a puppy of his own since Belle (the girl I put down) was originally my childhood friend. We named her Emilee and I just wanted to share pics of the cutie. She is turning out to be a good chicken Dog so far. She is 1/2 Rat Terrier 1/2 Catahoula Leopard Dog

Is'nt she the cutest little thing ,I hope she works out with your chickens. I had to have my old dog put down

,just before christmass and we havent got a new one yet ,but when I see your little one I think I might be ready for a new puppy.

i have 3 dachshunds that color, very cute puppy, congrats!

I have a 10 month old rat terrier and she hasn't been too bad with the chickens. Mostly she wants to play with them. I've just correct her when she acts too interested and she leaves them alone. It helps that the other dogs aren't interested at all. She only weights 10 lbs so the brahmas are much bigger than she is.
