Lost 2 birds

Was gone for the weekend. When I left everyone was fine. When I returned today one of my roosters and one of my hens were dead. No blood, no apparent injures. They all like to sleep high off the ground. The rooster was found relatively close to where they perch. Is it possible that they fell and broke there necks?

Never heard of that happening. Maybe a predator came near and scared them into shock which led to death?
