Lost a 2 week old Silkie today

We were given a 1 week old and a 2 week old Silkie on Saturday. The 2 week old died this afternoon.

She was shaking yesterday when we held her and I thought she was scared. When I found her today she had fluid coming out of her mouth. I cleaned the cage really good and now our little guy is all alone. I hope I'm doing everything right as I don't want anything to happen to this little one. Temp is at 90 to 100, he's eating and drinking water. Any thoughts on what happened to the other one or what I can do to make sure this one is ok?

I'm really sorry for your loss. We picked up a few chicks yesterday and within 2 hours of getting them home we lost the Lemon Mille Fleur. It didn't look very good when we got it, but it was the only Lemon she had and I was hoping I could help it. It's very upsetting to lose them. I hope someone can comment on what happened to yours to bring you some peace and understanding.
