my 2 broody hens hatched chicks on 8/1, 8/2 and 8/6. Five total. Mixbreed lil'guys really cute. 4 Cochin-crosses, 1 orpington/austrolorp. I found the austrolorp mix dead yesterday.
that lil guy was the smallest. my little sister named him ''Tomato''. I don't really know how he died, but he hadn't really been growing like the others and I think his ''momma'' a cochin, might've squished him.
it's so sad...he was just 1.5wks old.
