So sorry! I've lost two pullets over the past two years, and they both were my sweetest birds. One was sick (internal layer). But the other was as healthy as they come by all appearances, died right there in the dust bathing station. When there's no sign of illness/injury, I always assume organ/heart failure or stroke. It's surprising how much it can make your heart ache to lose one of those little guys/gals.
She didn't appear to be sick at all so I have no idea what happened. I'm gonna miss that sweet little girl!
