Lost one of my girls today!

Found one of my girls dead behind the coop today. Her head was gone and something had eaten the inside of her carcuss. Any ideas on what it might have been? Coons, Hawks, Cats or what? Please let me know what you think it might have been.

I have no idea, but I am so sorry for your loss. That must have been traumatic to find. Poor hen.

I read a wonderful post on here about predators and the way they kill and eat. There was one that removed the head, but now I can't remember which. Maybe look around there under the predetors section.


Good luck finding a way to keep whoever it is OUT.
