Lost one of my orpiginals today :(

Yes, I said ORPiginals....My very first chickens were my Buff Orpingtons. I lost one of my girls today. She had been battling with fluid in her tummy for several months now. It would fill up , then go down..fill up , then go down. I guess it was just too much and she passed away early this morning

Thank you. I guess my heart has kind of hardened to the fact that, yes, chickens die, but this one was a bit more special because it was one of my original girls..one of the ones that started it all!
