Lost one of my quail today :(

I have 33 fifteen day old quail all been doing well. Well went to feed them today and one had got stuck in the wiring and had been struggling to try get out there was blood everywhere. It had been a few hours since i checked on them felt really bad. Cut the wiring got her out and wrapped her up warm in house injuries pretty bad and she died feel so bad i one those gals that takes things to heart

I'm so sorry - I lost one the other day, too. Died right in my hands: I totally understand how you are feeling.

The weird thing is that it was too young to sex, and if it was a rooster...well, it would be going to freezer camp. But I cried all day long anyway.
