Lost one of our baby chicks

The other day 1 of our 3 chicks had a very swollen bottom. So I started cleaning her tush hopping that it was just a small case of paste. Then yesterday she started not drinking and looking really lethargic . This morning I cleaned her again and tried syringe water feeding her. This afternoon she passed.
It was very hard for my Kids and I.
Even though we only had her for 5 days, she was already part of the family.

same thing happened to me but i bought 12 and lost one but it was 3 days old
