lost one today

when we foun it it was warm so it just died. don't know why. the rest seem happy and great. I am at 30 1-2 week olds and still don't have a design for a coop. I guess we will have to get going on that!!!

It must be something in the air - I lost a 2-week old this morning.

Ah well - it's all part of the adventure. We have plans on ordering our coop kit next week. I'm actually kind of excited... hubby not as much

I hate it when that happens. Bad news. You're going to need a pretty large coop for 30 birds--and that's before chicken math starts.

Yes, we will have a big run and a tall and wide and long coop. We have some acerage so we are going to let them out most often.

i've got 30 also and 4 more ordered and my oldest are 7 weeks old and still no coop but it's going to be 16 x 8 if not bigger
