Lost one :(

Not sure what happened...they all seemed to be getting bigger and all seemed healthy....well.....I just went down stairs to change the girls paper towel out and give them some fresh water.....and one of my Barred Rocks were dead

Not sure what happened, although my Barreds were the smallest of the bunch I got and they didn't seem to be getting as big as the others......
I'm bummed out.......it's funny, some people will say, "they're just chickens".....and maybe 8 weeks ago before I started reading up and learning about them, I might have said the same thing.....but this actually really sucks....

The only bright spot, I may have to take a trip to my local Agway today and replace her with another one.....or three.....

DH bought a gas grill yesterday and this thing is huge. I'll be converting it for my birds today. We had a laugh about it being a grill box.
