Lots of ameraucana males?

I tried taking pics of all the ones developing the longer tails. Out of 9 I think we have 3 hens. Do any of the ones I show below look female at all? Longer tails+bigger combs=male, right?

That's what I was thinking. I didn't try to get pics of the females just the males.

Yes. Did you get them from a st run bin. Wow thats an unlucky outcome. They are gorgeous though.

No we got them at a poultry auction labeled as ameraucana pullets. Looking at pics online I estimated their general age at the time to be 5 weeks. I couldn't tell sex at the time but I understand experienced chicken keepers usually can pick males and females at that age. I suspect someone was culling their flock of excess males.
 
That bothers me that they would sell them as pullets. What if someone who cant keep roos bought them.
