Background on living conditions. My girls range from 14 to 16 weeks of age, they have a sand run and wood shavings in the roosting house. They can not free range because we live in an area with a few hawks that nest on the property, plus we see coyotes and bobcats often. Every morning when I go to see them and clean the run from the following day it is full of feathers a lot of feathers....., no one has bald spots and I've looked for might without seeing any on the girls. Is this normal?
Also do I need to provide a dust bath if their run is sand, if so what is the best to use for a dust bath?
Any help is very much appreciated.
