I have a hen with bumble foot on both of her feet. I have watched a number of you tubes and read articles on treatment....so I'm trying to treat it myself. One foot at a time I've removed the scabs off of her feet after soaking them in epsom salt water.....but I have no idea if the thing that caused the problem was removed. I did wrap it with bandage after applying antibiotic. The scab on the first foot that I did about 10 days ago seems small but its still a scab. I just did the second one yesterday Do you have any more advice? Maybe I should treat her with an oral antibiotic?

I think you have to press the puss out, and I would say yes to antibiotics.

Hens and roosters who are overweight are more prone to bumble foot than other flock members. This is especially so if they are forced to fly down from the roost onto a hard coop floor or other surface.
thank you. I have just changed their food to a lower calorie

PS, once you press the puss out (think giant blackhead) you can flush with peroxide to clean it.
