Hello,
I got 8 pullet chicks in March this year and I have had so much fun raising them. I have 2 Americanas, 3 Black Austrolorps, and 3 Buff Orphingtons. All are laying nicely and they free range a good part of the day. Went to get supplies the other day and they had 10 3 week old Speckled Sussex chicks in the $1 bin. I couldn't resist and brought them all home. They were straight run so now I am waiting to see what they turn out to be. I am hoping for some pullets, but at least one roo. We shall see...
