Lou's Eggmoble

Lous Eggmoble

Although not new to raising or being around chickens, this will be all new to me. My dad kept around 1 thousand white leghorn hens and the eggs were back then shipped to New York City by way of railroad. I raised broilers and had laying hens, when I was in the 4-H and would show at the county fair. I kept around 24 laying hens when I was a farmer, Now I'm a backyard chicken keeper with 18 laying hens and 1 rooster. In the process of building an eggmoble to house them this winter. Its being built on and old pop-up camper floor and frame.

Welcome and enjoy!

Hello :frow and Welcome to BYC ! After 1000 hens, 19 chickens must seem like a breeze. The coop/camper chicken eggmobile looks like it is off to a great start.
