LOVE CHICKENS(i need help to reach my goal)

Hello everyone. I'm very interested in becoming a poultry judge or inspector and have SQ standard birds. I'm here to learn more and find the breeds I'm looking for. My goal is to have Standard birds to win best LF at show. The breeds im looking for are standard SQ Buttercups, Cochins, Polish, Dominique, and Orphington. I want standard colors and only want about 2-3 birds per breed because of limited space. I am located in CA so I prefer to buy eggs or chicks at around this time because the show near me is in october(it just ended so im now preparing for next year) Thanks in advance.

Find your chosen breeds' threads there and start reading and learning and talk to the show people who participate in that section. They will advice you and teach you what you need to know.
