Love my chickens

Hello all,

I am fairly new to raising chickens.
I have a flock of 8 chickens that are now 15 months old.
The flock consists of: 1 Rhode Island Red, 2 Barred Rocks and 5 Americaunas
The have ownership of a section of the yard that is 50' x 25'. That space includes the 10'x12' shed that serves as their coop with nesting boxes and perches, water and feed.
They lay between 35 and 40 eggs per week.

We live in Sacramento California.

Looking forward to learning from more experienced chicken lovers!
