I just joined today,yay,i am very excited to share my questions and thoughts to other enthusiasts!

I've owned chickens for 4 years,turkeys 1 1/2 years,ducks and geese since this April. I've hatched chicks in an incubator and under a hen,butchered a turkey,read so many books,etc. BYC has been always lots of help when i read through the old forums and now i can share as well!!!

I have 9 chickens,2 buffs,1 barred rock with a rose comb and tons of other breeds as well,2 smooth feathered polish sizzles with a few other breeds i'm not sure of,1 curly feathered polish sizzle with some other breeds i'm not sure of,1 ameraucana,1 wyandotte polish sizzle,&1 black hen with lots of breeds.I got the 3 polish sizzle chickens from a friend and the rest i just kind of just got at random people/places or hatched in my incubator or under a hen.

You've got a nice mix of breeds and quite a sizable flock. The Ameraucanas (actually ours are Easter Eggers as true Ameraucanas lay only blue eggs) are my granddaughter's favorites. She loves the different colored eggs that they lay. Good luck with your flock.
