Loving life on 3 acres!

I am so exited to be here! I've been following BYC on Facebook for some time now, and finally took the plunge!
I have a little over 3 acres about a half hour outside Omaha, NE. I'm pretty much a "Jane of all trades". I'm a Christian mom/aunt of 3 teens, daughter 19, nephew (who lives with us) 18, and son 17, married to my best friend for going on 20 years, middle school teacher of English and Reading, fisherwoman, archery and rifle huntress (just came in from hunting turkey), competition trap shooter, volleyball coach, and the list just keeps going! I am bilingual; I speak English and sarcasm.
My hubby (who is one month from retiring from active duty military) and I have 35 Barred Rocks, 3 rescued ducks, 2 rescued dogs, and 1 goat.

I absolutely love everything the good Lord has provided us.

Many thanks to your husband for his years in service. You sound very handy to have around. Thanks to you I discovered I am bilingual too.- in fact I am better at my second language (sarcasm) than the first. I never knew I could get bonus points for being a wiseacre.
