Low cost on demand water storage system.

wow what a cool design! I have a similar system but only with a 5 gallon jug. Let us know how it does over the long haul but it looks great!

Well it's been a few days with 3 roosters and the nipples seem to be working just fine, no wet spots.
When I have my whole flock in there that will be the true test.

Awesome, I just got a dozen nipples the other day. Wanna head on over here and do a repeat performance? You know just to prove the first time was not by accident.
Actually I need to come up with three or four different ideas for everything from a brooder to the run, coop, indoor foul weather cage and what not.

I would but it's a long walk to your house.

Good luck.

Well I have 13 RhodeIsland Reds ready layer hens 2 mixed Roosters and 1 Plymouth Rock Rooster using the water system without a leak or a wet floor .

I was watching them drink from the nipples and they had no problem keeping up with the flow rate.

So far so good.

Too cool, this is very much what I am in the process of building, except for one, its going to be in a chicken tractor instead of a stationary coop, and two, the actual pvc with the nipples on it is going to be adjustable, so I can move it up as the broilers/turkeys grow. Thanks for the info!

Thanks so much for posting this. I have several huge barrels and have been trying to figure out how to use them to water my girls. This gives me some great info to start with.
