Hi Everybody,
I noticed a decrease in eggs as the weather turned hotter and I figured it was the heat, but then I started seeing soft eggs and eggs laid while roosting. These are not new layers, so I was wondering if something might be wrong. I don't really need more eggs, but I'm worried the girls might be sick or something.
I feed layena food, I feed the egg shells back to the girls, My yard is mostly sand and their run is 30x50. I use the dry litter method. The chicken coop is a little dusty, but that's mostly from the food......
any thoughts......
