Low egg production

Welcome! Chickens do best eating a balanced feed with oyster shell in a separate container. Either a layer feed, or an all flock feed like Flock Raiser (my choice, it's nutrient dense, everyone can eat it) with the oyster shell on the side. Limited treats, and your birds are eating right. Mine free range but not so much in winter with the snow. Adding other stuff doesn't improve things, and if you have high egg producing breeds or hybrids, will mess up their balanced diet. There are many reasons for lower egg production; molting, age of birds, any stress, nutritional issues, illness, parasites, to name the most common. Mary
