There are tons of low salt and low sugar products on the market...you just have to shop carefully. As for recipes you can turn just about anything into a low salt, low sugar recipe by using those products. My mother has had heart problems and high blood pressure since I was a kid and she was just careful what she put in the food we ate. Just eat fresh, cooked at home, (not processed) food and it's no problem. No frozen or packaged dinners and no fast food.

We ate a lot of chicken and rice.

Smothered steak with onions and peppers over rice.

Grilled steak with baked potatoes and salad

Grilled chicken with baked potatoes and grilled squash

Beans cooked with fresh pork instead of ham with rice and cornbread.

Spaghetti made with ground beef and homemade sauce.

Lasagna made the same way.

Tacos made using your own spices in the meat no seasoning packets.

Wet bean burritos with canned refried bean but homemade sauce.

Homemade fried catfish with homemade fries and corn on the cob.

Tuna noodle casserole made with low sodium cream of mushroom soup.

Homemade chicken noodle soup.

I could keep going but I'm betting you get the picture. Just make it yourself and you get to say what goes in it.
