In the Brooder

So I think this chick is about 3 or 4 days old. Hatched under a hen with two other healthy chicks. But when I found them this one wasn't standing and its back leg was sticking up to the sky. I bought it inside under the brooder and ended up doing a little splayed leg split as its thigh was also not staying in the right place. Took ut out of its split after 36 hours and it's thigh now stays in place but it's knee and lower leg feels like it's fused at an almost 90 degree angle instead of 180. Chick eats and drinks assisted , moves both legs and attempts to move but ends up belly flopping or flipping itself on it's back. Think new hatchling flopping about.

Anybody had any experience with this before?

In your picture this looks as if the lower leg has rotated. Is it rather loose or does it seem locked into the hock joint?

I once hatched a chick with one leg pointing backwards and I was not able to properly reposition the lowe leg as there seemed to be also a deformity of the joint
