The cheapest I found was $1.77 ea. (for 25) at Ideal, I looked for others, but that was the best I found.

Anybody know of a hatchery with a lower price?

I haven't decided yet if I want to try these, but I'm sure there are others who want the same info. Thanks!

Just curious, what are red broilers? Do they grow as fast as Cornish? I found it cheaper to purchase Cornish in 100s, but I don't need 100

MOVE closer so we can split costs LOL and save money!!

I think Red Broilers are the same as Colored Ranges, Freedom Rangers, and Redbro. At least they are similar. JM Hatchery advertises that their Freedom Rangers come in three varieties: tricolor, yellow and redbro. They range in price from $2.00 each (for orders of 25) to $1.10 each (for orders of 100+). I expect you would be able to resell chicks if you want less than 100, but want to enjoy the bulk pricing, I know there were some people doing that on these boards last year and craigslist is another good option.

I don't have anybody local to split an order with, I only want 25 at a time, 50 at the very most. Moyer's is the best price so far, (thanks, Kim!) JM's higher.

Hmmm....maybe I can find somebody to split some with, but I might have to raise them here.....
