Lump over eye

I have s chicken that has developed a lump over it's eye. I yhink it looks too big and red to be chicken pox. I was thinking a tumor. If so what can be done? It's my 10 year old daughters chicken (I'm thinking it's a roo) I am attaching a photo so you can see what it looks like. I hope it works. I appreciate any help.
