Lump over eye

I have s chicken that has developed a lump over it's eye. I yhink it looks too big and red to be chicken pox. I was thinking a tumor. If so what can be done? It's my 10 year old daughters chicken (I'm thinking it's a roo) I am attaching a photo in hop so you can see what it looks like. I hope it works. I appreciate any help.

Unfortunately, I don't know what can help fix that other than perhaps a surgery if it is something lodged in there.

Hard to tell from picture,is it hard or soft(squishy)might be possible to lance it. Could be an infection from a scratch or peck. Feel it,see if it is fluid inside.

Just as a note, chicken pus isn't liquid like mammal pus. It would form a hard cottage cheese like lump.

You are right it is hard but,if it was filled with fluid like a blister then it would be soft.
