Does anyone else here still own chickens and there lungs get influmed from there droppings ect or do you have a patch in your lung I don't want to part with them taking steroids which is helping any ideas
 
I don't have lung issues, but knowing how you currently care for your chickens might help give ideas on things that could help. Does your coop have plenty of ventilation? What bedding/cleaning style do you use? How often is it cleaned?
 
Dust, mold, ammonia odors from droppings, and feather dander can be very irritating, especially if you have lung disease or asthma. Wearing a good respirator might be something to consider when entering your chicken coop. Good overhead ventilation to keep those things at a minimum, and keeping the bedding dry and fresh as possible is helpful to both you and the chickens. Chickens lungs are as fragile or more than ours. Fresh air and no mold or dust can prevent them from getting respiratory diseases. Here is an article to read on the importance of ventilation:
