Howdy - My name is Lynn and I am in SLC, UT.

We have 6 chickens, got 'em in late August of last year - Reba is a Leghorn, Emmy Lou is an Amaracauna, Wynona is a Wyandote as is June Carter, Tanya Clucker is a Barred Rock, and Loretta is a Brahama/Amaracauna mix.

We also have Ellie and Jack - two 9 month old pups, Zulu a 2 year old Boston mix, Calvin and Tucker old man cats, and a 7 year old Golden Gecko!

In a couple of weeks we are gettin two new chicks to add to our flock and we are very excited, although a bit tentative since we didn't raise our first six, but bought them as pullets!

I love having the girls - they are so entertaining, and provide hours of stress relief while I do yard work or sip my coffee, anyway - I'm thrilled to have found BYC it has already proved to be a valuable resource for me and the girls.

Good luck with your new chicks. We started out with four and now have 20 chickens and some in the bator. They are sooooooo addictive and yet therapeutic all at the same time.

I also need to add that we also have a Reba, she is a RIR (Rhode Island Red). I love the country singer names. ;D
