do you guys know if I cn replace it with any mercury thermometer?

I went to Lyons Web page and the thermometer is not posted on the replacement parts.

It would be cheaper, but if that one from Wal-mart gets caught in the turning tray..

Then your talking alot more money for rack..turner for the RX2. RX2 doesn't have much room to play with.

The reason I wanted to order the thermometer is bevause I am asuming is more acurate than anything else.
Please correct me if Im wrong.

Also why are this incubators so expensive?

They cost more than some of the sportmans

Yes, It will be more accurate than the cheapo at Wal-mart. I have 2 of the older Roll-X and they are extremely worth every penny...they will hatch anything !!! They are much better than the Sportsman. Quality cost more, they are very reliable incubators.

BECAUSE SOME FOLKS WILL PAY IT....

LYONS ARE ACTUALLY TAYLORED MORE TOWARD THE HIGH DOLLAR END OF THE CAGE BIRD SPECTRUM.... PARROT BREEDERS AND WHATNOT.

Do i have to order the Thermometer form LYons ?
or can I use any mercury glass thermometer form the pharmacy?

Thank you
