What Breed Or Gender is This chick that I received from Murry McMurry .

this chick is 10 weeks old and only stands about 7-8" from ground to top of head ,
can any1 tell me what Breed and sex is

That is a Red Sex-link Rooster...

I think a poor (i.e. hatchery) quality white-laced red cornish is a possibility too. It looks like my WLR Cornish hen did at that age.

well thank s 'all , but I'm thinking he is some sort of bantam breed cus he is still small then my jap. white and blacks and also smaller then my mille fleur and porcelain bantams that are the same age ???????? but he is a lot smaller .........

almost looks cornish to me as well... hmm....

Comb will be the deciding factor. If it's a straight comb, it's a sexlink but if it's a modified pea type comb (which it looks like to me), it's a cornish.
