1 stray chicken found at Wompatuck State Park in Massachusetts. Oct 13th. URGENT home needed, she appears young and eating well, but feathers indicate she has had a few rough nights in sharp bushes.

Would love to keep her but we live in the city and have 4 cats. Please help!

I wonder what the heck she was doing in Wompatuck all by herself...even Mike and I have gotten lost there. Betcha it was a dump and run...

The ARL in Boston/Dedham takes farm animals, in case the bird can't get a home.
This is little bit about the park. My Great Grandmother used to work there making bombs during WWII.
