I made muscadine jelly yesterday and have the fruit that was cooked and strained to get the juice. It is not sweetened. Can I feed that crushed fruit to my chickens? I used a gallon of berries and know not to offer all at once, but want to know if it is ok for them.
If they can have it, I will freeze in bags and offer later on as a treat in smaller portions. They have no self control with treats and will eat all I offer!
Thanks for any info.

I think it would be fine. Nothing in it but seeds, skin and pulp. They will most likely go bonkers over it.

As you mention, just a small amount as a treat. Freezing it into smaller portions is a great idea.

The jelly sounds so good!
