We needed a bigger feeder that would allow us portability, flexibility and still use less space.

I took an old bathroom tissue holder (that wasn't being used) and an old tupperware pan....a couple holes at the bottom of the holder and some screws to hold it together.

Out in the yard...

The girls seemed to like it and were using it right off... Was pretty happy with it and it didn't cost me anything to make!

Too dang cool.... I am soooo making one.. (or somethng like it...)

That is great! If it were me I'd add a little cover to keep the rain out too, but it rains here ALL the time in the winter, and the mist drifts around even under shelters.

Maybe you don't need such a thing.

Good job!

Thankx guys! I'm making one improvement on it...I have a tin roof thingy from a stove chimney...I'm going to place it on top to keep the moisture out of it and shelter it a bit....

Still No COST.... YES!!!

That is awesome. I would make one suggestion, maybe an upside down funnel (with the hole capped off) down inside would make the food flow out the holes a little better. Not sure if this would work, but it's an idea. Love it though!
