Maggots in run?!

There might be maggots hatching in my run. Will they crawl up the chickens and give them fly strike? I’m not sure of anything but a family member that was helping me got two maggots on them.

Anyone? Just realized they might have been on the bottom of the feeder. I’m planning to cut the grass soon but worried about fly strike.

Our waterer leaks, and the feed gets on the ground. There were a bunch of maggots under the stones where the waterer and feed was.

I was mostly just concerned about fly strike! But I am planning to cut the grass tomorrow.

You're welcome. Also, get any feed that fell on the ground off of the ground. It'll get moldy if it gets wet. Learned that the hard way.
