Magpie Colors

Here I was thinking our Magpies would be plain ol black and white (Which we were A OK with). With full plumage comes some pretty blues. Can anyone identify a more specific breed of Magpie? Also am I correct to assume that voice and vent sexing are the only ways to ID?

They look like Anconas to me, Magpie's don't have too much freckles around the face.

If they are anconas, they dont match breed standard pattern.

I think they might be blue magpies? Information on them is scarce but I did find a source saying blues will have a slightly blue 'cap' on their heads. Hard to tell. They definitely have the upright posture when at attention like a runner.

I think most magpies have a cap, these certainly do.
