I free range my chickens with my geese and turkeys during the day, yet am concerned about blackheads disease that's brought on by the infestation of the insidious cecal worm. I'd like to know what other poultry lovers use as a cecal de-wormer, how often you give it and if it actually works the first time or if you have to use it multiple times or if it only works as just a preventative measure every few months or so. And when you use it, do you dose your chickens (the potential carriers) as well as your turkeys, or just the turkeys since they're the ones that actually GET Blackhead's Disease. Any information would be greatly appreciated and helpful, since the more I seem to read about it, the more confused I seem to become.
Thanks.
