Major diarrhea

Some of my layers have serious diarrhea. It looks like regular loose poop, but in a clear liquid; and there's a lot at one time. Any ideas?

i would give them some quick oats just plain, for 3 of mine i give a 1/2 a dixie cup. depending on how many you have ajust accordingly. i watch my girls poo everyday and give oats when the need it. i hope this help, remember quick oats

eating too many "greens" (like lettuce and suc"h) often causes this. It does not sound like diarrea as that will appear like "pea soup". If this continues and especially if it is particularly warm then add electrolytes to the waterer to prevent dehydration.

Can free ranging and eating too much grass cause this? One of my hens has been

like that this summer and is barely laying eggs. The eggs she does lay are misshappen.
