Ok...so, my broody gave up a little early (not her fault--long story). I have moved 3 remaining eggs inside. One chick is pipping. Please give me everything I need to know about helping this chick survive the hatch. I am putting a Utility light in a styrofoam cooler. I will put a bowl of water in the bator. I will keep it close to 100. What else?

whatever you do, dont help it hatch. wash your hands constantly so there is no bacteria and be ready to have to cull any of them.
introduce them with water and food but make sure they cant "swim" because they will try. watch out for any defects so you can correct them early on
