make sure you use the same color bowls!

I fed my pullets yogurt today for the first time and boy did they love it! I brought it out in two bowls, one orange and one blue. Of course they all dived into the orange bowl and ignored the blue one! When I poured the yogurt from the blue bowl to the orange one it suddenly became more appetizing and they finished it off. LOL

I assumed it was because they are attracted to the color red, and the orange bowl looks closer to red. Today I brought out two orange bowls and they lunged for both equally! Silly chickens.

They are attracted to the color red.
That is why the base of the chick waters and feeders are red..
That is also why when one chicken start to bleed all the chickens are pecking that chicken...
