makin chicken nests

Hi, I have 2 buff orpingtons about 14 weeks they have a perch in their coop but i have tried putting boxes in there ,they really could care less! Should i get hay and just put some down in each corner or side by side? ??? i have no clue...help

They only need one nest, and it can be as simple as a small pile of hay or an open cardboard box. . They probably won't start laying for a couple of months anyway.
