I haven't gotten the correct blueprints yet...but here is the idea! All I need is some ideas and more info from y'all!
The cage will be half indoors and half outdoors..sorta like a AC unit! I would have it all outdoors, but here is the problem:
Bloodthirsty raccoons that have a history of making neighborhood cats vanish
Texas heat (Normally 90 - 110 degrees late June to mid September)
It will be in my backyard.

This is what it will look like outside. This blueprint (Not idea) was thrown together and is very VERY simple. Here we go..
Like I said, this will be sticking out like a ac unit. Most of the blueprint you can see the basic idea. Metal things will be holding up plexiglass that will shut over the chicken wire when too hot/cold or there are too many raccoons around, or my neighbor's cat is out and about (Possibly ours as well.)
There will be a "trapdoor" at the bottom that will make cleaning easier. It will be very hard to open, to avoid accidents or raccoons opening it with their little hands...
There will be a poll for the bedding! You may choose what you think would be the best for button quail!
Now, on to more advanced things!
From this foam thing and the second blueprint you should get a basic idea on what it will be like. Okay, that is enough explaining for tonight, plus my computer is extremely laggy with typing! I will edit this more tomorrow, goodnight people and birds!
