making a tractor

Ok Im trying to find out how to make a tractor. I got the building of the tractor down but i cant find out whats keep the chickens from pileing up agaist the back wall while moving it to a new spot?? looks like to me you would have brokein legs and everything else.

Hi Sam,

As long as you can see where the birds are while you are positioned to move the tractor, you can then just nudge it along for the first few times so as not to catch a leg of one of the birds. The birds will eventually learn to move with the tractor.

I don't have a tractor of my own but have cared for layers, meat birds and turkeys for a cousin of mine and she has only used tractors. She has not had any mishaps and neither have I.

You should incorporate in your tractor design a way to view the birds while you are moving them.
