How the heck do you change a pic into an avatar?

Click on your profile link, then personality, then change avatar and upload a new picture.

But how do I convert a pic to an avatar?

You can use an online place like photobucket to edit the photo, save the change and save it back to your harddrive. Or, you could use photo editing software (like paint shop pro) to resize the photo.

A good size for an avatar is 100 x 100 pixels.
