I am new to chickens, but want to stay away from "prepared feed". I have my personal reasons for doing so.

I am going to mix and create my own feed, and wanted opinions on anything I'm lacking. Also, if anything is poisonous, please let me know! I have been researching on the web, and below is a formula that I think will work. My chickens will be for laying, not eating.

Right now, my chicks are on chick starter, but as they reach maturity, I will be weaning them onto my own feed.

Here is what I have thought about feeding:

2 C Whole Oats (16.9g Protein, 5% Calcium, 6.9g Fat)
2 C Buckwheat Groats (5g Protein)
2 C Red Wheat Berries (6g Protein, 2% Calcium)
1 C Sesame Seeds (8g Protein, 4% Calcium, 16g fat, -1% Sodium)
2 C Cracked Corn (16g Protein, 1% Calcium, 7% Vit A, 8g fat, 2% Sodium)
1/2 C Brewer's Yeast (8g Protein, 1% Calcium, 30% Vit B6, 33% Vit B12, 3% Sodium)
1/2 C Dried Meal Worms (36% Protein, 18% fat)
4C Bird Seed, contains Milo, White Proso Millet, and Wheat (8% Protein, 4% Fat, 1% Calcium)
2C Black Sunflower Seed (15% Protein, 5% Calcium, 34% Vit B1, 23% Vit B6, 28% Fat)
Free Choice Grit
Free Choice Oyster Shells
Free Choice Water -Nothing added

They will be supplemented with outside forage and table scraps.

Please let me know if you think anything should be added, or removed. THANKS!!
