A friend of mine posted on Facebook the other day that he was feeding his new cat and had ringing through his ears "Food for the kitty" to the tune of Foghat's "Fool for the City." I realized that happens to me all the time. Yesterday, I was wrestling with frozen hoses and snow so that my ducks could have fresh water in their rubber "pools" and I kept singing "The Things I do for Ducks" to the tune of Hall & Oates' "The Things We Do for Love." And today I was reading another BYC post debating the eggs song, and when I got back from some Christmas shopping I realized I was singing "Let it crow, let it crow, let it crow" to the tune of the Christmas song "Let it Snow."

So at the risk of having more songs that won't leave my head, do you have any versions of your own?

Ha, I was watching the Susan Boyle story last night while DW was on the "puter. She sang the song, "I Dream a Dream". I was singing along, really loud, "I Dream a Dream....of More Chickens" I heard DW cracking up in the other room. My plan worked!
